Please register in advance on the CoCoTax website where you can pay ONLINE, or bring cash or check on Friday and pay at the door-$25 for members, $30 for guests.

As the beginning of the County's 2026-27 fiscal year approaches, County Administrator Monica Nino will provide an overview of the fiscal year's budget.

ABOUT OUR SPEAKER

Monica Nino is the County Administrator for Contra Costa County, California, managing overall responsibility for more than 11,200 employees, and a budget totaling $7.2 billion. The County Administrator serves at the will of the Board of Supervisors and is responsible for the overall administration of our county government. Working with 26 departments, agencies, and special districts, including six elected Department Heads, the County Administrator ensures that the million-plus Contra Costa County residents receive programs and services. Monica holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting and a master’s in public administration. She has more than 38 years of experience in county government. Prior to joining Contra Costa County in January 2021, Monica served as the Chief Executive Officer in both San Joaquin and Stanislaus County. Monica loves spending time with family. She enjoys traveling internationally and enjoys the outdoors.
