FASTER Bay Area is a proposed nine-county 1% sales tax to raise $100 billion over 40 years for transit improvements.  Unfortunately, without major changes in how transportation is planned and executed in the Bay Area, all that will happen is giving more money to agencies that have wasted billions of dollars as transit ridership has significantly decreased and the roads have gotten more congested and unpredictable.
